Rotary Bangalore North or ROBANO as it is often called is the second Rotary Club to be started in the City of Bangalore, Chartered in 1966. We have tried to do our share of service to the society for several years, especially through our Rotary Bangalore North Eye Hospital which has conducted over 20,000 free cataract surgeries and 10 Interact and Kinderact Clubs and 3 Rotaract Clubs.

We are conducting a unique event for the Interactors of RI Dist. 3190 under the Avenue of Youth Service, “INTERACT PROJECT PLANNING SESSIONS”, which could give them exposure to ideas from eminent persons who have been identified for the purpose, who could give them excellent ideas to plan and execute projects. 

We seek your participation along with Interact Clubs sponsored by your Club. 

In this way all the Interact Clubs from RI Dist. 3190 could benefit from the event.

The event will focus on the “Seven Thrust Areas of Rotary”.

  1. Basic Education and Literacy

  2. Maternal and Child Health

  3. Peace and Conflict Prevention / Resolution

  4. Disease Prevention and Treatment

  5. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

  6. Community and Economic Development

  7. Support the Environment.

The program is an ONLINE event to be held from the 1st to 7th November 2021, to coincide with the World Interact Week for (Seven Days).

The program is totally FREE. 

E-certificates will be issued to each attendee. Attractive prizes also can be won during the event.

A brief overview of the event: The emphasis of this event will be on PLANNING projects. An eminent person from each focus area of Rotary will address the session and put forth ideas of types of projects which could be carried out in that particular focus area. The Interact Clubs will be given a certain amount of time (about 15 Days) to think out a suitable project and plan and present it and forward the presentation to our team who would evaluate them.  The Interact teams with the best projects, planning and presentation will be invited to present the same at a physical meet. 

Trophies will be awarded to the best projects.
